1.  Go to the “Home” Tab
2.  
In the “Slide group”, click on “New slide”
3.  From the dropdown menu, choose a layout of your choice
 Shortcut key: Ctrl +N

1.  In the window on the left side, “right click” on the slide you want to delete.
2.  A drop-down menu will appear, click “Delete Slide”

Method 2:
1.  In the window on the left side, left-click on the slide you want to delete

4.  Choose “Remove Section” (to remove the selected section ) or “Remove All
Sections”( to remove all the areas)

3.  Click the “section” option, and a dropdown menu will appear
4.  From the dropdown menu, “Choose Rename”
5.  Type a name in the “Section name” box and click “Rename”

1.  On the left “slides panel”, Click the thumbnail of the slide, you want to move
2.  Click, hold and drag the slide to the new location
3.  To select multiple slides: Press the right click and hold Ctrl, click each slide you want to move

 

How to import documents into slides in PowerPoint

STEP 1
1.  “Open “Microsoft Word document and “Go to Home”
2.  Type your text and “Use Styles” from the top home tab to format the content
3.  Highlight the content you want to use as a slide title and select Heading 1 in Styles.

4.  Highlight the content you want to use as the slide text, and select Heading 2 in Styles

(Note: If your Word document contains no Heading 1 or Heading 2 styles, PowerPoint will create a slide for each paragraph in your content)
5.  On the top left Click the “File” button and choose “save as”
6.  Choose the location where you want to save your file and then click “save”

7.  Now close the word document file
Caution: Remember to close your word document file so you can insert it into a PowerPoint presentation.

8.  Open PowerPoint, On the top left panel, open the “Home tab”
9.  Click the “arrow” next to the “new slide” button, click the second last option “Slides from Outline” dialogue box
10.  Select the document, you want to open and click “insert”

11.  A new slide will be created for each Heading 1 in your document

1.  Go to the “Home” Tab
2.  In the “Slides” group, click on “New Slide “
3.  From the dropdown menu, select “Reuse Slides”
4.  A window will open on the right-hand side. Click “Browse”

5.  Find and “Open” the presentation from where you want to reuse slides
6.  Select the slides you want to import into your presentation

7.  As soon as you click on a slide, it will be added to your presentation

Caution: Check the “keep source formatting” box if you want to reuse the slide\s with the original theme or formatting
